Changing the world one adventure at a time

International Service Learning (ISL) is an international educational agency that provides medical and educational teams of volunteers to provide services for the underserved populations of Central and South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, and Africa.
Our programs offer students the opportunities and funding to travel abroad and serve the underserved while gaining hands-on experience working with patients and our professional medical staff.
ISL has gained a reputation for safety as all teams travel with local professional staff and medical personnel. Last year over 1,200 students from over 100 universities participated on our teams and provided medical care to over 100,000 people.
Teams have a chance to explore the region they’re working in, like ziplining through the canopy of a Costa Rican forest canopy like this team did.
